For every proof point, SmarTuna defines the document requirements that satisfy it — the type of document, who provides it, who it's for, and the level it attaches to. That turns a vague obligation into a specific, assignable task.
Instead of chasing an unknown list by email, your team works from a defined one — requesting outstanding documents from partners through the platform, with a collaboration mode that lets them contribute what they owe without opening up anything else.
Verification

Documents alone aren't verification. SmarTuna checks the parties in your chain against external registries and lists — RFMO records, ISSF PVR, MSC and ASC chain of custody, EU-approved establishments, IUU lists.
So a claim rests on the current status of the vessel, farm or facility behind it — not only on a certificate someone uploaded.
Social accountability & labor rights
A social claim should travel with the product.
Most traceability systems stop at environmental claims. SmarTuna carries the same structure into social responsibility — the area under the sharpest scrutiny, and the hardest to evidence with paperwork alone.
Evidence, structured the same way
BSCI/Amfori, SMETA, Fair Trade, the FISH Standard for Crew, observer and monitoring reports — defined requirements, an assigned provider, and a link to the Raw Material ID they cover.
